A five-week oil painting class with Maggie Parr, September 24-October 22, 2026, 2:30-5 pm at Riley Street Art Supplies in San Rafael, CA. 

$380 class fee includes all materials, including oil-primed linen canvas. All you need to bring is a table easel and your own apron. 

You will begin with a black and white value study, which will be the underpainting for 4 more layers of color. Along the way, you'll learn about values, lighting, color, and the wonders of oil painting. By the end, you will have a completed portrait that will amaze you!
