Join former Disney Imagineer and master painter Maggie Parr in a lively presentation and demo--and come away with a simple and effective understanding of values, rendering, and problem solving.

It all begins with light.
How light behaves as it travels through space, how it hits an object, what it does after it moves past an object.
You'll learn how that translates into the elements of rendering: highlights, cast shadows, corners, reflected light, warm and cool shadows and local color.
You'll learn how to see everything around you in a new way.
Whether you're an artist already, or just starting out, or simply curious about how we see the world, you'll gain valuable understanding about how art works.
